Chana Dal Burfi


* Chana Dal – 100 g

* Milkmaid – 1/2 cup

* Desiccated coconut – 1/2 cup

* Milk – 3 cups

* Ghee – 1/2 cup

* Water – 500 ml

* Elachi powder – 1 tbsp

* Chopped pista – 2 tbsp


How to make

Soak chana dal in water and keep it aside. After two to three hours filter water and cook dal in two cups of milk. Then grind the dal to a paste. Heat ghee, add dough and fry until the mixture is light brown. Add milkmaid and mix it well. Then add the rest of the milk and cook until the mixture leaves the side of the kadai. Then add coconut, pista, elachi powder and mix well. After two minutes remove from heat and spread in greased plate. cool it and slice into pieces.
