Instant Oats Idli


Oats – 1 cup

Sooji – 1/2 cup

Curd – 1 cup

Chopped carrots – 1/2 cup

Chopped capsicum – 1/2 cup

Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp

Baking soda – 1/2 tbsp

Coriander leaves – few

Salt to taste

How to make

Heat pan and roast oats for five minutes. After cooling grind to a fine powder. Roast sooji for five minutes and let it cool. In a bowl add carrot, capsicum, cumin seeds, salt and curd… mix well. Then add oats powder, sooji and mix again. Now add water until you get a thick batter. Then add baking soda and mix it well. Then make idlies with this batter and serve hot with coconut chutney.
